TCS has consulted on airport related ground transportation matters in a variety of locations throughout the United States including work on as airport shuttle services at Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky, Houston, Philadelphia, Portland and San Antonio and on airport taxicab concessions at Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky, DC-Dulles, Guam, Houston, Jacksonville, New-Haven Tweed (CT), and San Jose. TCS has consulted to on-airport taxicab control system applications at Dulles and LAX. TCS has also consulted on ground transportation studies and regulatory projects involving airport matters such as the Port of Portland and cities of Fort Worth, TX and Santa Monica, CA. TCS has consulted on a number of other airport ground transportation projects including executive sedan, airport parking shuttles and airport bus service projects throughout the United States.
Airport Concessions for Taxicab Management Services
TCS has assisted with a variety of concessions and management contracts at large and small airports, including shared-ride and fixed-route shuttles. We have also consulted on other airport ground transportation issues. A representative scope of work: TCS provided research to one of the nation’s largest airport taxicab concession, and the nation’s largest dedicated airport taxicab service. TCS provided comprehensive consulting on the operational plan including driver standards, vehicle standards, peak-period service issues, on-airport dispatching procedures and technology, trip fees and bookkeeping methods, complaint tracking and driver database system, customer service monitoring and quality control procedures, driver training program, and curbside agent procedures. TCS also provided an analysis of on-airport dispatching technology and work with selected vendor on implementation plan.
Airport Terminal Transfer and Parking Shuttles
TCS has contracted on a variety of terminal transfer and parking shuttles. A typical scope of work is: Provide airport Review and Recommendations on RFP, summary, and recommendations. Provide comprehensive assistance with response to RFP. Review contracted scope of work and provide recommendations. Provide general consulting on strategy, experience factors, and other issues. Provide consulting at procurement award hearing.
