Grants for Transportation Service, Vehicles and Voucher Programs

TCS brings a high level of expertise in grant programs for transportation. Public transit and paratransit programs are funded by a variety of grant programs, each with their own regulatory framework, and TCS brings experience with virtually all such programs. More recently TCS has consulted on opportunities brought about by the U.S. Safe, Accountable, Flexible, Efficient Transportation Equity Act covering FTA planning requirements and grants for the four year period ending in 2009. TCS has consulted to a number of private organizations on the planning process and on related business development opportunities, as well as consulting on grant applications / proposals and implementation plans for taxicab subsidy programs and wheelchair accessible taxicabs for FTA New Freedom Program (Section 5317) grants, some of which are in the startup phase while others in the project selection process. All of these and several other projects have also included consulting on the local coordinated planning process and related business development consulting on these opportunities.
